Please reach us at Weighitup.highworth@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Nope, if you haven't got anything to put it in we have plenty of paper bags that you can use and there are often donated containers here.
You can use whatever container you like, just make sure it's clean and doesn't leak if you are getting liquids! Going plastic free doesn't mean that plastic is banned here. Tupperware, ice cream tubs, takeaway containers are all good to keep re-using and saves them going to landfill and reduces waste. Your old spice containers, washing up liquid and shampoo bottles are a great way to start. Why not clean out that old Jam jar and fill it full of rice, or fill your old instant coffee jar with freshly roasted coffee beans.
We have a lot of organic produce in our shop and we would like everything to be organic but to keep the costs down for our customers some things aren't just yet. We want zero-waste shopping to be affordable for everyone and some of our herbs, spices and rubs are difficult to get as organic. You can expect to find about 80% of our products in store as organic.
Not at all. There is no packaging for any of our zero-waste products which helps reduce costs to you. You also have the chance to buy just what you need too so you save money there. Maybe you only need 200g of flour for your biscuits, that's all you need to get so you can make recipes for less money. We are very competitive price wise towards large supermarkets for all of our products and in a lot of cases we are actually cheaper!!
We have a small collection of Gluten Free products in store including cereals, pasta and oats. Because of the nature of the store, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that they will be completely gluten free due to air born particles.
